Over the past few months, CBA has hit the road to connect with members and contribute to the growing efforts to strengthen the Catholic identity of organizations around the country.

Mary Beth Barry, our Director of HR Consultative Services, and Mandy Cox, Director of Membership Services, were thrilled to be invited to speak at the March 9-11 Southeast Diocesan Regional Finance & Human Resources Conference in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Mary Beth’s talk, titled “Stronger Catholic Identity: The Secret Ingredient for Human Resources & Legal Success,” was both engaging and well-received. Among other insights, she highlighted how having a strong Catholic identity is not only a great strategy for legal purposes, but just as importantly, it can help improve culture and a sense of common mission among employees.

In early April, CBA was honored to co-host the inaugural Christian Institutional Investors Conference with Innovest, the Archdiocese of Denver, AmPhil, Colorado Christian University and several other great organizations. The event drew around 100 Christian business leaders, financial experts and investors to CCU’s beautiful campus. Attendees commented on how innovative and engaging the presentations were and how uplifting it was to meet people passionate about their faith influencing their investing.

This past week, Jason Coon, Vice President of Health Care Consultative Services, presented April 27-29 in Salt Lake City to the National Association of Catholic Personnel Administrators convocation on successfully navigating the benefits landscape as a Catholic organization and exploring the innovative solutions available. This marks the second time that Jason has been invited to address NACPA attendees on this topic, showcasing the unique and valuable expertise that CBA offers to our members and the broader Church.

Wherever you are located in the U.S., CBA hopes to connect with you and support your efforts to serve Christ and his Church. To learn more about CBA and how we serve our over 9,000 member organizations, visit: catholicbenefitsassociation.org
